Abstract
Aims: This review has been prepared by using studies on propagation
techniques of passionflower species which are thought to develop as an
alternative plant species for our country.
Methods and Results: In this review, different propagation methods and
applications of passionflower species are given information by considering
scientific and technological developments.
Conclusions: Vegetative propagation methods and generative propagation
methods have their advantages and disadvantages in passionflower
species.
Significance and Impact of the Study: As a result, this genus, which has a
very rich species diversity and is used as food, ornamental plant and
medicinal plant, depends on the successful reproduction of new demands
for research and development activities. In this review, the propagation
techniques of passionflower are explained in detail.
