Özet
Antakya'da 1990'lı yıllarda kurulan belde belediyelerinin, Antakya kenti ve kentin gelişimi açısından sorun oluşturduğu tartışılmaktadır. Belde belediyelerinden kaynaklanan sorunlar yalnızca Antakya kentini etkilememekte, belde belediyeleri de çeşitli sorunlarla karşılaşmaktadırlar. Antakya 'da belde belediyeleri sorunu çok kısa bir zamanda kronikleşmiş, giderek karmaşık ve önemli bir sorun halini almıştır. Son günlerde Antakya Belediyesinin büyükşehir statüsüne geçirilmesi tartışmaları gündeme gelmiştir. Ortaya çıkan bu sorunların çözümü amacıyla geliştirilen bu öneri tartışmaya açılmak.
It is debated that the small town municipalities established in Antakya in the 1990s cause numerous problems with Antakya and its development. The problems arising from the small town municipalities not only affect the municipality of Antakya, but also the municipalities themselves. These municipalities face many problems as well. The issue of the small town municipalities has become chronic in a very short time to gradually turn into a complicated and important problem. Recently, the debates on changing the status of Antakya Municipality to metropolitan municipality have come to the agenda. This study opens the said proposal for discussion with an aim to bring a solution to these problems.
