İskenderun Körfezi'nde bulunan sarıkuyruk istavrit Trachurus mediterraneus (Steindachner, 1868)'in bazı biyolojik özelliklerinin araştırılması

Özet
Bu çalışmada, Kasım 2011-Ekim 2012 tarihleri arasında, İskenderun Körfezi?nde dağılım gösteren 664 adet sarıkuyruk istavrit Trachurus mediterraneus (Steindachner, 1868))?a ait boy, ağırlık, yaş ve büyüme özellikleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen örneklerin 286 (% 43,08) adedi dişi, 378 (%56,92) adedi ise erkek bireylerden oluşmuştur. Dişi ve erkek bireylerde minimum ve maksimum toplam boy değerleri sırasıyla 11,20-20,00 cm ve 11,00-20,50 cm iken; yine dişi ve erkek bireylerde minimum ve maksimum ağırlık değerlerinin sırasıyla 12,10-72,96 g ve 9,95-89,20 g olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dişi ve erkek bireyler için hesaplanan boy-ağırlık ilişkisi denklemleri sırasıyla W=0,0026xL3,461 ve W=0,0020xL3,539 olarak bulunmuştur. Otolitten yaş okumaları sonucunda, dişi ve erkek bireyler için minimum 1 ve maksimum 5 yaş grubu belirlenmiştir. von Bertalanffy boyca büyüme eşitlikleri dişi bireyler için; L?=26,72cm, K=0,140 yıl-1, t0=-3,597 yıl, erkek bireyler için; L?=26,71 cm, K=0,142 yıl-1, t0=-3,485 yıl ve tüm bireyler için L?=26,65cm, K=0,140 yıl-1, t0=-3,746 yıl olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ortalama kondisyon faktörü dişi bireylerde 0,964±0,006, erkek bireylerde 0,947±0,005 ve tüm bireylerde 0,954±0,004 olarak bulunmuştur. Aylık gonadosomatik indeks (GSI) değerleri, sarıkuyruk istavritin Mayıs-Ağustos ayları arasında ürediğini göstermiştir.

The examined sample includes 286 (43.08%) female and 378 (56.92%) male specimens. The total length range for females and males was 11.200-20.00cm and 11.00-20.50cm, respectively; and the weight range for females and males was 12.10-72.96 g and 9.95-89.20 g respectively. The length-weight relationships computed for female and male specimens was respectively as; W=0.0026xL2.461 and W=0.0020xL3.539. The minimum and maximum ages determined based on otholit readings for females and males ranged from 1 to 5. The computed von Bertalanffy growth parameters were estiamted as L?=26.72cm, K=0.140 year-1, t0=-3.597 year for females, L?=26.71 cm, K=0.142 year-1, t0=-3.485 year for males and L?=26.65 cm, K=0.140 year-1, t0=-3.746 for all population. The mean condition factor of females, males and all population were found as 0.964±0.006, 0.947±0.005 and 0.954±0.004 respectively.
