Özet
Eterik yaglar, aromatik bitkilerden elde edilen kendine has kokusu, tadı, rengi ve görünümleri olan uçucu özellige sahip yagımsı karısımlardır. Endüstride ve insan yasamında önemli bir yer tutan eterik yaglar çok degisik amaçlarda kullanılabilmektedir. Bu çalısmada kullanılan menengiç (pistacia terebinthus) ve mersin (myrtus comminus) bitkileri Hatay yöresinde yetisen bitkilerdir. Bu bitkilerin eterik ve sabit yagları soxhlet ve clavenger cihazlarıyla elde edildi. Elde edilen eterik ve sabit yagların analizleri GC-MS ile yapıldı. Suda çözünen eterik yaglar eterle ekstrakte edildikten sonra GC-MS ile analizleri yapıldı. Soxhlet cihazında çözücü olarak hekzan kullanıldı. Daha sonra da hekzan, döner buharlastırıcı ile (Rotary evaporatör) geri kazanıldı. Ayrıca menengiç ve mersin bitkilerinin içerdikleri eterik yagların analizi headspace cihazı kullanılarak GC-MS'de yapıldı. Elde edilen eterik yaglar farklı sıcaklık aralıklarında GC-MS'de çalısılarak aynı bitkilerin yaprak ve meyvelerinin içerigi saptandı.
Ethereal oils are oily mixtures which are extracted from aromatic plants and have special odours, taste, colour and appearance due to their volatile properties. Ethereal oils have that important place in humans lives can be used for quite different purposes. The plants, pistacia terebinthus and myrtus comminus, that we used in this study are grown in large amounts in the region of Hatay. In our study, ethereal and constant oils of these plants were extracted with the help of the Soxhlet and Clavenger apparatusus. Extracted ethereal and constant oils were analysed with GC-MS. The Ethereal oils that were dissolved in water were obtained by extracting with ether, and were analysed with GC-MS in the same way. Hexan was used as a solvent in Soxhlet apparatus. Then, hexan was evaporated by rotary evaporator. The ethereal oil of pistacia terebinthus was analysed by headspace apparatus which connected to GC-MS.
