Özet
Bu çalışma Hatay Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin yumurta tüketim alışkanlıklarını belirlemek için yapılmıştır. Üniversitenin 9 fakültesinde 392 kız ve 608 erkekten oluşan toplam 1000 öğrenciye 27 sorudan oluşan anket yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrencilerin yumurta fiyatını yüksek bulduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yumurta tüketiminde kış mevsiminin daha çok tercih edildiği belirlenirken, kırsal kesimde üretilen yumurtaların daha fazla istendiği saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte kırsal kesimde üretilen yumurtaların besin değerinin daha fazla olduğu inancı belirlenmiştir. Yumurta satın alırken en önemli kriterin fiyat ve tazelik olduğu saptanmıştır. Diğer taraftan öğrencilerin büyük yumurta tercih ettikleri tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşın kilo ve adet ile satın alımda ekonomik avantajın ayrımının yapılamadığı belirlenmiştir. Yumurtaların en fazla marketten satın alındığı, ambalajlı olmalarına dikkat edildiği, öğrencilerin fonksiyonel yumurta ve ekolojik yumurta hakkında bilgi sahibi olmadıkları saptanmıştır. 2019, 32 sayfa
This study was conducted to determine the egg consumption habits of the students of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University. A questionnaire consisting of 27 questions was administered to 1000 students consisting of 392 girls and 608 boys in 9 faculties of the university. According to the results, it was found that the students found the egg price high. While it was determined that winter season was more preferred in egg consumption, it was determined that eggs produced in rural areas were more desirable. However, it was determined that the eggs produced in rural areas had higher nutritional value. Price and freshness were the most important criteria when buying eggs. On the other hand, it was determined that the students preferred big eggs. On the other hand, it was determined that economic advantage cannot be differentiated between weight and quantity and purchasing. It was found that the eggs were purchased from the supermarket at the most and that they were packaged, and the students did not know about the functional egg and ecological egg. 2019, 32 Pages Key words: Egg consumption, consumer preference, university student
