Abstract
Dil eğitiminde metin kullanımı çok önemlidir. Çünkü dil eğitimi metin merkezli olarak gerçekleştirilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 1924'ten 2006yılına kadar hazırlanan 15 Türkçe öğretim programını, Türkçe ders kitaplarına metin seçiminde tür, tema, içerik, uzunluk, kaynak ve yazar tercihi bakımından değerlendirmektir. Değerlendirmede "içerik analizi" tekniklerinden "kategorisel analiz tekniği" kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları geçmişten günümüze yaklaştıkça Türkçe öğretim programlarında kitaplara alınacak metinlerin seçimi ile ilgili daha çok sayıda değişkene ve daha belirleyici ifadelere yer verildiğini ortaya koymaktadır
The usage of the text is crucial for language education. Because, language education come into being text centered. The aim of this study is to evaluate 15 Turkish curriculums - from 1924 to 2006 - in terms of principles relating to text gender, theme, content, length, cohice of reference book and writer, in text selection for Turkish textbooks. In evaluation, categorical analysis technique from content analysis techniques is used. The result of the study introduces that the numbers of distinctive statements and principles relating to text selection for textbooks have increased in Turkish curriculums.
